To prevent a consumer, who wants broadcasted music, from missing the opportunity of purchase by providing a memory for recording the digital information of that music from received music broadcasting and a receiver for transmitting this recorded digital information to a data base capable of specifying the music from that digital information, and receiving this transmitted music specification information.

The music broadcasting receiver of terminal equipment receives music broadcasting and the memory records the digital information of that music from the music broadcasting received by the music broadcasting receiver. Then, a transmitter transmits that digital information to a data base system. The data base system, which receives the digital information, specifies the music from the digital information. Then, the music specification information is transmitted to the terminal equipment. In the terminal equipment, the music specification information is received by the receiver and that received music specification information is outputted by an output device. Then, the outputted music specification information is used for purchasing the music or collecting new information.
