Abstract:
To obtain a terminal, a terminal-equipped wire, and a method for manufacturing the terminal-equipped wire that improve the holding power of the wire.SOLUTION: A terminal-equipped wire 1 includes a terminal fitting 2 and a covered wire 3. The terminal fitting 2 includes a support plate portion 211, and a protruding portion 214 that protrudes from the support plate portion 211, penetrates the covered wire 3, and extends in the protruding direction. A protruding end portion 214b, which is the exposed portion of the protruding portion 214, is provided with a retaining portion 214c whose projected area as viewed from the protruding direction is larger than the area of the base of the protruding portion 214.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 7
