Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To be able to select whether or not to use encoding means used for communication between terminals.SOLUTION: The terminal comprises: a discrimination unit for discriminating whether or not to have encoding means for encoding data when receiving the data from another terminal; a receiving unit that receives a selection from the user as to whether or not to request the external device to provide the encoding means when the determined encoding means is not included; a transmission unit that transmits a request to provide the encoding means to the external device when receiving a selection from the user to request the external device; and a decoding unit configured to decode the data using the encoding means received from the external device.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3
