PURPOSE: To constitute a terminal reserving device which controls a reservation schedule, terminal by terminal, without the intervention of a host computer and which is interlocked with automatic power-on/off control for each terminal when one terminal is utilized by plural users.

CONSTITUTION: A floppy part 3 and a power supply control part 4 are connected to the main frame part 2 of the terminal reserving device and terminals 9W11 are connected to the control part. The reservation processing part 15 of the main frame part 2 sets operation mode states of reservation, cancellation, LOG collection, utilization, etc., and monitors the terminal reservation schedule in a reservation table 18 according to time data or time width outputted from a timer part 8. Then, a control signal for powering on or off a terminal corresponding to a scheduled time is supplied to the control part 20 and a control signal for driving end report lamps 13 and 14 which preanounce and report the ending of an in-use time is also supplied. A password checking part 16 checks whether a user is allowed to update the reservation table or not.
