PURPOSE: To provide a termination for an oil-filled power cable in which the lead wire for temperature measurement can be inserted into the oil channel of a conductor through a conductor pull-out rod.
CONSTITUTION: A conductor pull-out rod 1' to be fitted over the conductor terminal of an oil-filled power cable within a bushing is provided with a hole 4 extending axially from a lead-out end, and a small chamber 6 located on the joint side. The hole 4 is opened at the upper face of the small chamber 6 such that a closable valve 10 can move freely within the small chamber. A pull string 11 connected with the valve 10 is pulled to the outside of the rod 1' to incline the upper face 3a' at an end of the conductor having an oil channel in the cable forming the bottom of the small chamber 6 at a predetermined angle with respect to a horizontal plane thus shifting the dropping valve 10 to one side of the opening of the oil channel.
