Abstract:
PURPOSE: To obtain a termite-controlling agent having high killing effect on termite, low toxic to human and livestocks, also low in the fear of environmental pollution and maintaining its satisfactory termite-controlling performance for a long period, thus extremely high in its practicability.
CONSTITUTION: This termite-controlling agent is obtained by formulating an active ingredient, i.e., (4-ethoxyphenyl) {3-(4-fluoro-3-phenoxyphenyl)propyl} (dimethyl)silane of 2-40 times, based on the weight of the active ingredient, of at least one kind among glycols and monoalkyl glycol of the formula HO-(C2 H4O)m-(C3H6O)n-R (R is H, methyl, ethyl, propyl, butyl or phenyl; (m) and (n) are each an integer of 0-400, (m+n) being 1-400).
