PURPOSE: To purify waste water with a biological reaction tank alone, to reduce the site area for the title equipment, and to reduce the construction cost of the equipment by providing the biological reaction tank and first to third separators as its auxiliary facility.
CONSTITUTION: The waste water from a building 32 is passed through the screen separator of the first separator 33, and the coarse solid matter and oil in the waste water are separated and removed. The waste water is then supplied to the biological reaction tank 31, and the contaminant in the waste water is subjected to a reaction therein and allowed to be adsorbed on activated sludge. The waste water in the tank 31 is then pumped up by a pump 39 of the second separator 38, passed through a membrane separation mechanism 40, and circulated to the second separator 38. The activated sludge is separated from the waste water by the mechanism 40, and the clarified water is reutilized as the general service water for a toilet. In addition, excess sludge in the biological reaction tank 31 is pumped up by a pump 42, dehydrated by the third separator 43, and appropriately discarded as dehydrated cake 44 to the outside of the equipment.
