Abstract:
PURPOSE:To make it possible to test easily whether the positional relation between a light projecting element and an image sensing element is effective or not, by projecting a plurality of lights to a test supplementary fitting set at a part of inspection and by sensing images of the lights reflected on the surface of the fitting. CONSTITUTION:A test supplementary fitting 5 is set at a part 1 of inspection of a package component 2 which is positioned adjacently to a package component 4 of a large height. This supplementary fitting 5 has a semispherical specular surface 6 and produces reflected light images by lights from directions corresponding to all azimuth angles and angles of elevation. A light projecting element 24 applies lights of different colors from circular light sources 28, 29 and 30 onto the specular surface 6 at different incident angles simultaneously and the images of reflected lights therefrom are sensed 25 at a position just above. When the positional relation between the light projecting element 24 and the image sensing element 25 is effective, consequently, each reflected light image forms a normal ring image. When it is not effective, on the other hand, the reflected light image of the light source 30 of which the light is intercepted partly by the component 4, for instance, forms a ring image which is broken off in the part wherein the light is intercepted. On the occasion when the part of inspection is inspected, according to this constitution, the effectiveness of the positional relation between the light projecting element and the image sensing element can be tested with ease.
