Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a woven fabric having a plurality of linear protruding parts which do not impair stereoscopic effects by an external pressure.SOLUTION: The woven fabric 10 comprises a plurality of linear protruding parts 20 formed by weaving warp yarns and weft yarns and extending in a longitudinal direction Y and a plurality of linear flat parts 30 extending in the longitudinal direction Y between protruding parts 20 adjacent to each other in a transverse direction X. The protruding part 20 is tubular and has a recess part 22 connecting the flat parts 30 adjacent to each other in the transverse direction X. A core yarn 18 extending in the longitudinal direction Y is arranged in the protruding part 20. In the recess part 22, the core yarn 18 is woven in a mesh by the warp yarn and the weft yarn. It is preferable that the core yarn 18 is fixed only in the recess part 22 in the protruding part 20.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
