Abstract:

To provide a thermal discoloring composition controlled to a desired discoloration temperature hysteresis.

The thermal discoloring composition contains an electron-donative coloration organic compound, an electron-accepting compound and a desensitizing agent. The thermal discoloring composition contains at least two kinds of compound represented by general formulae (1): H(CH2)m-COO(CH2)nH and (2): H(CH2)n-1-COO(CH2)m+1H as the desensitizing agent. In the above (1) and (2), m represents an integer of 5 or more and n represents an integer of 5 or more. Provided that m and n except the values when the above (1) and (2) become the same compound.
