Title:
THERMAL HEAD PRESSURIZING DEVICE
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JPH0435974
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:

PURPOSE: To easily observe a recorded result just after recording by a method wherein a rotation torque of an L-fitting about a rotating shaft is varied so as to increase or decrease a force of depressing a thermal head on thermal recording paper.

CONSTITUTION: Where the feed direction of recording paper 2 by a recording drum 3 is an X axis, the aligning direction of a thermal head 1 is a Y axis, and a direction vertical to an X-Y plane is a Z axis, a rotating shaft 47 in parallel to the Y axis is supported by a bearing member 61 provided on a support member 45. One surface of an L-fitting 44 is disposed on the X-Y plane, the other surface is disposed on a Y-Z plane, and the L-fitting 44 is engaged so as to wholly rotate around the rotating shaft 47. By rotating a stud 41 with a driver applied on a screw 46, the position of a nut 42 is moved, and the compression pressure of a spring 43 is changed. The elastic force of the spring 43 rotates the L-fitting 44 around the rotating shaft 47 and pressurizes a thermal head 1 through a presser part 48. Because the tip end of the screw 46 is so disposed as to be retracted from the tip end of the thermal head 1, a recorded result on the recording paper 2 just after recording can be observed through a cutout provided on an operation box 5.
