To provide a closed type protector device used in a delta connection type three-phase induction motor.
An insulation substrate 7 arranging a heat responding plate 11 is set up on a cover plate 3 with six conductive pins stuck to it. Three sets of opening/closing mechanisms of the same structure, which is opened/closed through an insulator protrusion by inverting reset action of the heat responding plate 11, are each electrically independently provided on the cover plate 3. A single set of the opening/closing mechanism is constituted between the opposed two conductive pins, to be set up with an almost equal space with the center of the cover plate 3 serving as the reference. A closed type protector device is constituted by securing a housing 2 to the cover plate 3 so as to cover these opening/closing mechanisms. The heat responding plate 11 performs the inverting reset action by receiving a thermal influence, so as to almost simultaneously open or close three sets of the opening/closing mechanisms. In the case of generating abnormality, supply of power to each winding of a three-phase induction motor is simultaneously interrupted, so that the three-phase induction motor can be protected.
