Abstract:

PURPOSE: To provide a thermal sensor with a remote test function which can test its operation accurately and safely in a short time.

CONSTITUTION: A plus-characteristic thermistor 13 is provided as a heat generation body for the operation test in a chamber 4 consisting of a heat collection plate 1 and a diaphragm 3. With characteristics that the temperature rise rate of the plus-characteristic thermistor 13 is high, the operation of the thermal sensor can be tested accurately in a short time. Further, the operation test can be conducted by using a plus-characteristic thermistor 13 which is low in saturation temperature, so neither the melting of the mold base of the thermal sensor nor the breakage of various elements of the circuit part is caused.
