Abstract:

The outside of a reed switch 6 is sealed with a switch case 5 comprising a cylindrical body with a bottom and a ring-shaped magnet 7 is movably fitted to the outside the switch case 5. The reed switch is actuated by magnetic force by moving the magnet 7 by thermal deformation of a shape memory alloy.
