Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a thermistor that can be easily and surely joined with a joined object, as well as a secondary battery to which this thermistor is attached.
SOLUTION: The present invention is related to a mount-type thermistor whose resistance changes according to a temperature and a joining structure in which the thermistor is joined to the joined object. A lead in the thermistor at the side joined to the joined object is made of a substance of a different constituent. The side of this lead joined to the thermistor electrode has, as its principal constituent, a substance that forms the thermistor electrode, and the side of it joined to the joined object has, as its principal constituent, a substance that forms the surface of the joined object. Accordingly, since the thermistor can be easily joined to the joined object only by ultrasonic welding, joining failures can be decreased significantly.
