Abstract:
PURPOSE:To simplify and miniaturize the structure of a thermo-siphon type power generator as well as to raise the efficiency of power generation by providing an evaporation section consisting of storage stills and a bubble pump, a heat-insulating section through which low-boiling medium vapor passes, and a condensation section forming a condensating chamber. CONSTITUTION:In an evaporation section 4a, storage stills A22 and B21 where a heat medium liquid 11 and a low-boiling medium liquid 12 are stored and distilled and a bubble pump 23 are formed. The low-boiling medium vapor 12 separated is sent to the space in the heat-insulation section 4b. In a condensing section 4c, a storage still chamber 24 in which the low-boiling medium vapor discharged by adiabatic expansion from a turbine 7 is condensed and stored is formed. The structure of a thermo-siphon type power generator can thus be simplified and miniaturized, and the efficiency of power generation can also be raised.
