To provide a thermosetting coating material composition capable of forming a coating film excellent in weather resistance and scratching resistance, and also yellowing resistance, acid resistance, gasoline resistance, close adhesion and appearance.
This thermosetting coating material composition contains (A) 50-90 wt.% hydroxy group-containing vinyl-based copolymer which is a copolymer of 5-70 wt.% hydroxy group containing vinyl-based monomer expressed by formula (1) [wherein, X1, X2, X3 are each H or methyl; Y is an alkylene having 2-5C main chain which may be branched; (m) is 0-2; and (n) is 1-5] with 95-30 wt.% another vinyl-based monomer, and having 20-200 mgKOH/g hydrox value, (B) 1-30 wt. % block isocyanate, (C) 1-20 wt.% 1,3,5-triazine-2,4,6- tris-carbamyl acid ester expressed by the formula: C3N3(NHCOOR)3 (wherein, R is an alkyl, an aryl or an aralkyl) or its oligomer, (D) 0-10 wt. % amino resin and (E) 0-3 wt.% organic tin-based compound.
