In a Gd prescription layer 4, a line B forming an external form of the Gd prescription layer 4 and a line A forming an external form of a wide part 13a which correspond to the wide part 13a are in almost parallel. Also, the Gd prescription layer 4 has a first straight line part C extended from a long size part 13b to an almost vertical direction in the longitudinal direction of the long size part 13b, a second straight line part D whose width is increased toward a direction opposite to a recording medium side and which is tilted to the longitudinal direction of the long size part 13b, and a curvature part E between the first straight line part C and the second straight line part D. Also, length L2 of the first straight line part C is 0.1 to 0.5μm, and a contact angle θof the curvature part E for the first straight light part C is 30° or less.
