Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To accurately conduct a good thread cutting action even at a high sewing speed by conducting the thread cutting action and disk loosening action synchronously with a main spindle by a main spindle interlocking means against the rotation of a thread cutting cam rotated integrally with the main spindle.
SOLUTION: When the sewing action is completed and a thread cutting signal is sent from a control device, a thread cutting solenoid 11 is turned on, a cam driven arm 3 is rotated via a magnet arm 8, and a thread cutting roller 6 provided on the arm 3 is brought into contact with the cam face of a thread cutting cam 1. The cam driven arm 3 is vertically moved by the action of the thread cutting cam 1 rotated together with a main spindle, and it is transmitted to the input section 17 of a knife link mechanism via a connecting rod 12, an L-shaped link 13, and a connecting bar 14 as the horizontal rotating power. A moving knife 16 is rotated, and the thread is cut between the moving knife 16 and a fixed knife 18. A thread tension releasing slide 23 is extruded, and the thread pinching force by the thread tension disk 22 of a thread tension unit 32 is released.
