Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain reinforcing soil construction having no risk of collapse when large horizontal force is applied thereto or even when vibration is applied thereto for a long period of time for reinforcing soil construction and reinforcing soil block parenting the collapse of them by reinforcing and remodeling filling of natural soil or artificial subbase course materials.
SOLUTION: This three axis reinforcing soil construction is equipped with a plurality of layers of secondary reinforcing layers formed of a large number of frame members 11 developed in the ground in a state of plane and a large number of pile members 12 arranged in the direction at right angles to the secondary reinforcing layers, both up and down pile members 12 formed together as a unit are so arranged that the upper and lower ends of them are projected to both up and down parts of the secondary reinforcing layers, the pile members 12 on the upper layer are arranged in a state to drive the lower ends of them downward from the upper ends of the pile members 12 on the lower layer. Blocks to be used are so molded that the frame members 11 of tension resisting members are monolithically formed of a plurality of pile members 12 projected in the direction at right angles to the surfaces of frame members 11. The pile members 12 projected in the direction at right angles to the secondary reinforcing layers resist horizontal shear movement.
