PURPOSE: To attain modeling on a display device only by arranging lots of sensors detecting displacement of each part of a bag made of an elastic member with fingers accommodated therein and containing fingers into the bag so as to mimic the desired modeling.
CONSTITUTION: Gloves 1 accommodates fingers of both hands. An output wire 3 leads out outputs from lots of sensors detecting 3-axes orthogonal to each other. A 3-dimension deformation converter 4 is connected to the wire 3 and 3-dimension object deformation information is calculated from a sensor detection output. A display device 5 displays the deformed 3-dimension object according to the calculated 3-dimension object deformation information. A deformation target 6 made of an elastic or viscoelastic substance perceiving the presence of a 3-dimension object via both the gloves 1 to a person is deformed by moving the fingers as desired. Then the sensors of the gloves 1 detects the pattern deformation information and it is translated into a desired deformation pattern by the converter 4 and the result is displayed on the display device 5.
