Title:
THREE-DIMENSIONAL IMAGE DISPLAY GAME MACHINE
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP2001259172
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:

To provide a 3D image display game machine such as a pachinko game machine and a slot machine allowing a player to clearly see a 3D image by preventing generation of a ghost caused by rays coming from the 3D image formed in the outside space and other outside light sources.

A concave mirror 5 is disposed so that first image 4 coming from a half mirror 6 into the concave mirror 5 is reflected on the half mirror 6. As the first image 4 coming from the concave mirror 5 to the half mirror 6 is made to penetrate the half mirror 6, the image is displayed to a player 7 as a 3D image 8 floating in the air. A quarter wavelength plate 17 is disposed near the half mirror 6 to generate phase difference in the vibration direction of the incident rays. A polarizing plate 18 is disposed between the quarter wavelength plate 17 and the player 7 to polarize the incident rays. Therefore, the ghost generated from the rays coming from the 3D image 8 formed in the outside space and other outside light sources can be sufficiently eliminated. As a result, the player 7 can more clearly see the 3D image 8 formed in the outside space.
