To provide a three-dimensional linear spatial imaging optical system capable of yielding a formed image without nonlinear strain to an object even when an incident angle on an imaging surface is made large, and a projection optical system using the same.
Provided are the three-dimensional linear spatial imaging optical system 5 which forms the non-deformed image of a three-dimensional object (object grating 3) or the deformed image (imaging grating 4) thereof uniformly elongated and contracted and/or sheared in respective axial directions of three orthogonal axes in a separate space, and the projection optical system which uses the three-dimensional linear spatial imaging optical system, and where a picture display device 12 is arranged to be tilted to an optical axis 6 as the three-dimensional object therefor and a screen 13 is arranged nearly at the imaging position.
