PURPOSE: To obtain three-layer conjugate monofilament for printing screen plan gauze free from scum during weaving, having specific mechanical properties, comprising a three-layer conjugate structure composed of specific polyethylene terephthalate based resins.
CONSTITUTION: The objective monofilament which has a three-layer conjugate structure composed of (A) an outer layer of a polyethylene terephthalate obtained by copolymerizing polyethylene glycol and/or polytetramethylene glycol, having ≤5μm thickness, (B) a middle layer of a polyethylene terephthalate containing an antistatic compound and (C) an inner layer of a polyester, has a polyester conjugate ratio of the inner layer of the component C of ≥60% based on the whole components by area ratio, ≥5.5g/d break strength, ≥4.5g/d modulus at 10% extension point and ≥120g/d initial tensile resistance and has no static electricity generation in handing and printing of plain gauze.
