To provide a coated cemented carbide cutting tip having good interlayer adhesiveness of a hard coat layer.
This coated cemented carbide cutting tip is formed by chemical deposition and/or physical deposition of the hard coat layer on the surface of a WC-base cemented carbide substrate. The hard coat layer is provided with a TiN layer having an average layer thickness of 0.1 to 2 μm and granular crystal structure as the first layer from the substrate side, a TiCN layer having an average layer thickness of 3 to 15 μm and longitudinal growth crystal structure as the second layer, a (Ti, Al) CNO layer as the third layer, having an average layer thickness of 0.3 to 3 μm and granular crystal structure and a constituent concentration distribution, in which Ti, C and N as constituents are continuously and/or intermittently gradually decreased from the lower interface with the TiCN layer of the second layer toward the upper interface with Al2O3 of the fourth layer along the layer thickness, and Al and O as constituents are continuously and/or intermittently gradually increased, and an Al2O3 layer having an average layer thickness of 1 to 8 μm as the fourth layer and granular crystal structure.
