Abstract:
PURPOSE: To increase the area for installation of equipment and reduce the structure weight of an artificial satellite by mounting a propellent tank in part of a thrust tube for use as a main structural member of the artificial satellite.
CONSTITUTION: In a thrust tube and a propellent tank for use as main structural members of an artificial satellite, the cylindrical propellent tank 2 of a sealed structure is enclosed and mounted in the thrust tube 1 in such a manner that the thrust tube 1 is inscribed to the inside of the hollow cylinder of the tank 2.
