Title:
TICKET PROCESSOR
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JPS54113399
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:

PURPOSE: To increase the speed and reduce the power consumption of a ticket processing operation by forming each piling chamber with a partition for temporarily storing tickets for each lot and by checking each calculated value so that the tickets are piled in each chamber when they are correct.

CONSTITUTION: A number of bank notes P are set randomly in a piling chamber 2. The notes P are then taken one by one means of a taking rotor 3 so that they are subjected to judgement as to their kind and genuineness by an inspecting unit 5. Then, the notes P are separated in accordance with the kinds and counted by a counter. The tickets thus separated and counted are piled for each kind in respective chambers 111 to 114 of the piling unit 9. Each piling chamber 111 to 114 is formed with a lot partition 121 to 124 for temporarily storing the tickets for each lot so that the contents of respective counters are checked after the processing of each lot. If they are correct, the tickets on the each lot partition 121 to 124 are piled in the respective chambers 111 to 114. Thus, it is possible to speed up and reduce the power consumption of the ticket processing operation.
