To provide a ticket selling system by using the Internet in which the purchaser of a ticket can immediately obtain the desired ticket by his or her operation at that place even if he or she does not go to a ticket selling place and the forgery of the ticket can be prevented by using ticket paper having unique information.

A server and a user terminal are connected so that they can mutually communicate through the Internet. Unique information is printed in advance in a ticket paper in such as way that it can be viewed and can be read by a machine. The user terminal is provided with a display means, an input means and a printer means for issuing the ticket. The server has a ticket information display means and an information processing means receiving an instruction on the purchase of the ticket, generating ticket face information on the ticket and ticket issuing information and transmitting generated information to the user terminal. The user terminal prints ticket face information and ticket issuing information on ticket paper by the printer means.
