Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve problems that a conventional tidal current power generator is difficult to deal with a tidal water level, a natural water level, and directions of forward and backward flows of a tidal current, when assembling a base for mounting a power generator in the sea and establishing the power generator on the base.SOLUTION: In a tidal current power generator which is lightweight and can be easy to move, a slip ring for fixing a hook, a speed increasing gear, and a generator are installed in a streamlined hollow cylinder. Rotation speed of external propellers is increased with the speed increasing gear connected via a shaft, and is connected to the generator for power generation. The generated power of the generator is charged in a storage cell. The problems caused by the forward and backward flows of the tidal current and the ebb and flow of the tide can be solved by a chain connected with the hook arranged at a tip of the streamlined hollow cylinder. Blades are arranged on a synchronously rotated body of an impeller so as to rotate the body in a reverse direction against the propeller and rotation of the generator can be accelerated.
