Abstract:
To provide a tightening tool capable of holding and tightening a castle nut securely irrespective of a diameter of the nut.
This tightening tool for the castle nut is composed of a pair of arms 1, 2, a multi-long hole 3 is formed in the arm 1 on one side, a shaft part 4 engaged with an arbitrary bearing part of the long hole 3 is provided in the arm 2 on the other side, and nut clamp parts 5, 6 are attached to respective tip parts of a pair of arms 1, 2. The opposing parts of these nut clamp parts 5, 6 are circular-arc recessed parts 5a, 6a, and projecting parts 5, 6b engaged with groove parts of the nut are formed in central parts of the circular- arc recessed parts 5a, 6a.
