Title:
TILE FOR RESISTING EARTHQUAKE AND WIND
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP2002285680
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:

To solve such problems as not to prevent displacement because of a small engagement area, difficulty of supporting a load of an upper tile by utilizing engagement of this small inclined face with a small engagement member, and to required complication of damage, handling and construction and a construction time because of a constitution of the engagement member in which an engagement piece having a thin structure is projected in a conventional structure in which the small inclined face with an astragal is engaged with the lower end of the tile body in an inclined state and in a relation ship between the small inclined face with an astragal and the small engagement member of the upper tile.

In a tile for resisting earthquake and wind, a downward inclined end part 2 is provided on one side of a tile body 100 of a ridge tile 1 with an astragal, an upward inclined end part 3 is provided on the other side of the tile body, the upward and downward inclined end parts are collided, and displacement and/or rattle in a direction orthogonal to the ridge of the tile or the ridge are/is prevented. As a result, displacement/shock in nearly whole directions can be prevented, or the load of the upper tile can be surely supported. This is helpful for resisting earthquake and shock in horizontal and vertical directions of a roof. Linkage strength between adjacent tiles can be easily and surely realized.
