Abstract:

PURPOSE: To provide a tubeless tire which can be mounted on a non-airtight wheel consisting of spokes and a rim of a bicycle, a motorcycle or the like and is few to puncture.

CONSTITUTION: In a conventional tire consisting of an outer rubber 1, after a soft and airtight rubber (or plastics) layer 5 is provided on the whole inside surface of the tire, a fabric layer 3 and a wheel contact part containing steel wire 7, a lid member 4 made of soft rubber is adhered (fused) to the opening part with a part 8 to be sealed, and an airtight chamber 9 is formed inside the tire to constitute the tubeless tire. In order to strengthen the effect to close a pin hole by the penetration of the tire when the pin hole is made by a nail, a pin or the like (the tire's self-recovery effect) and improve the effect few to puncture, a layer 6 made of soft and adhesive rubber (or plastics) is constituted on the layer 5 on the inside of the tire.
