PURPOSE: To facilitate the tire replacing work by providing a chucking unit supported by a moving device through a flotation supporting mechanism to permit the movement in the vertical and right-to-left direction and the inclination in the longitudinal direction.
CONSTITUTION: A chucking unit 14 capable of the movement in the vertical and right-to-left direction and the inclination in the longitudinal direction by a flotation supporting mechanism is moved in the longitudinal direction and pressed against the end face of a wheel when a moving device 8 is pushed forward by an elongation mechanism 9. The chucking unit 14 is aligned to a tire 207 in the vertical, the right-to-left and rotational direction, and a supporting table 5 and a slide plate 4 are united and clamped to a truck 1 by a clamping device in the condition. Then, drawing and pushing is achieved along the axis of the tire by the longitudinal movement of the moving device 8. The tire 207 is held by the chucking unit 14, and held in the floated condition by a spring 11 through a rotary bearing 13 and the magnetic force in the vertical direction of a magnet 12.
