Abstract:
PURPOSE: To obtain a method for efficiently producing a nonwoven fabric having sheet properties according to uses such as the longitudinal/transverse strength ratio thereof with the same apparatus and the apparatus for producing the nonwoven fabric.
CONSTITUTION: The objective method for producing a nonwoven fabric is characterized by changing the distance of the arrangement pitch of air suckers used and thereby changing the orientation of thermoplastic continuous filaments 2 and regulating the sheet characteristics in drawing the filaments discharged from plural spinnerets 1 arranged in a row with plural air suckers 3 arranged in a row at a high speed, then jetting and collecting the filaments on a net 8 and producing the nonwoven fabric. Furthermore, the objective apparatus for producing the nonwoven fabric is obtained.
