Abstract:
To provide a coating liquid which can form a film excellent in adhesion to a substrate, having a high photocatalytic activity, and excellent in clarity by a low-temperature treatment and a production method of the same.
This titania coating liquid contains anatase having a crystal particle size of 20 nm or lower and obtained by hydrolyzing a titanium alkoxide in an alkoxyalcohol and subjecting the resultant amorphous titania sol to pseudohydrothermal synthesis. The liquid has a water content of 5% or lower.
