Title:
TITANIUM-COATED ANTICORROSION STRUCTURE
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP2963004
Kind Code:
B2
Abstract:

PURPOSE: To ensure the coating with a titanium thin plate to ensure corrosion prevention by interposing a titanium clad steel in the connecting part between the titanium thin plate and a metal body to be corrosion protected.
CONSTITUTION: A strip steel plate 7 in a titanium clad steel 3 consisting of the strip steel plate 7 and a strip titanium thin plate 8 is superposed on the outer circumferential surface on both end parts in a metal body 2 to be corrosion protected consisting of a steel cylinder, and fixed thereto by welding 11. Both the end parts of a titanium thin plate 1 are fixed to the strip titanium thin plate 8 in the titanium clad steel 3 by welding 12. An organic material or a cement-based material may be filled among the titanium thin plate 1, the metal body 2 to be corrosion protected, and the titanium clad steel 3. Thus, a titanium-coated anticorrosive structure in which the metal body 2 to be corrosion protected is inexpensively coated with the titanium thin plate can be realized at a low cost, and the anticorrosive property comparable to titanium can be expected.
