Abstract:

PURPOSE:To perform the tape winding operation stably even during reproducing of one tape cassette in a recording and reproducing device, by providing a driving mechanism, which turns and drives a reel disc in the direction of tape winding, in an adapter for tape winding which is used to set a small-size tape cassette to the standard type recording and reproducing device. CONSTITUTION:An adapter B for setting a small-size cassette A is set in a storage part D of an adapter C for tape winding, and a supply reel disc 200 connected to a supply reel 8 and a take-up reel disc 201 inserted to a guide hole 103 of a gear 96 which meshes gears 98 and 97 meshing teeth 16 of a take-up reel 9 are provided. A motor 210 winds the tape in the direction of REW, and a motor 211 winds the tape in the direction of FF. Motors 210 and 211 are stopped automatically by a light emitting body 202 and photodetectors 203 and 204 when the tape end is detected. Since the tape of the small-size tape cassette is wound in the state where it is set to the adapter for the tape cassette, this adapter is set to the recording and reproducing device as it is and is convenient for handling.
