Abstract:
PURPOSE: To provide an economical method of realizing a braking characteristic of a power circuit of a motor, which secures a proper braking with a specified speed reduction curve without a rapid braking in an initial stage, when the motor is switched off. CONSTITUTION: When a means 16 for energizing a motor 10, a means 18 for conducting a controlled cut-off of the power and a means for shorting an armature of the motor are started up, a power supplying means supplies at least one specified braking voltage to a field winding 12. When a braking time has passed, the cut-off means operates so as to completely cut off the power from the motor.
