Abstract:
PURPOSE:To enable fine adjust of the passage form of gas by a method wherein a spacer is provided between the inner lining member, which constitutes a gas passage, and the outer wall member of the device, and a change is made in a passage gap by adjusting the height of the spacer. CONSTITUTION:The rod-type studs 5c and 6c, formed in one body with electrodes 5 and 6, are passed through the outer wall member 9, and they are tightened with a spacer 11 which is pinched between them using a nut 10. The gap g1 between the inner lining member 7 constituting the gas passage and the outer wall member 9 is determined by the height of the spacer 11, and the gap g2 between the inner linings 7 is determined by the gap g1. The gap g2 can be changed by preparing a plurality of spacers 11 of different height and using them for replacement.
