Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To realize the proper arrangement of an input character row by a simple operation by dividing the character row of a line exceeding the length of a threshold value to alter the same to character rows of two lines and developing the character row after line feed is added or an inputted character row on a buffer. SOLUTION: At a time of the developing command of an inputted character row to a printing or display buffer, the line length discrimination means of a control part 20 confirms the length data of each line of the inputted character row and discriminates the presence of the line exceeding the length of the threshold value determined by the kind of the size of a printing medium or a transfer medium and the line feed adding control means of the control part 20 divides the character row of the line exceeding the length of the threshold value to alter the same to character rows of two lines and a character row developing means develops the character row after line feed is added on a buffer to make it possible to develop the inputted character row on a printing buffer or a display buffer in a well-balanced state without inputting line feed at a time of the input of the character row.
