PURPOSE: To reduce process, manufacturing cost and wastage of sheet material by Joining a stile and rail portion on materials for a door and by mounting a laminated decorative sheet over outer surfaces of the stile and rail portion and exposed surfaces other than the stile and rail portion.

CONSTITUTION: A stile and rail portion 3 is joined to on the upper and both sides of a core 2 for a door base material 1, and a decorative sheet S is laminated onto the material 1 within a vacuum press laminating device 10. An elastic film 14 in a rubbery stab which is spread in the device 10 is heated by a heater 15 therein, adding air pressure, sucking the air and prssure of closing is applied, and the periphery of the film 14 is stuck fast to a suction table 22. Then, the heat of the film 14 is conducted to the sheet S, and it is heated and softened, and the inside of a chamber 11 facing the sheet is deaerated and pressurized. The sheet S is softened as well as the film 14 and stretches and sticks fast to the material 1. Subsequently, the material 1 which has been lamination coated with the sheet S is taken out and after finishing, a decorative door is completed. Laminating process of the sheet S and removing of extra portions may be reduced to a single process.
