Abstract:
PURPOSE:To obtain a controller for AC electric vehicle which can perform stabilized motor torque control at all times without causing unnecessary protective detection while preventing reduction of motor torque or abrupt variation of motor current. CONSTITUTION:A main transformer 3 is connected with a converter 4 which is connected with an inverter 6. In an AC electric vehicle comprising the inverter 6 connected with a motor 7, reduction of the effective value of basic wave in the inverter output voltage is detected through an inverter control circuit 16 connected with the inverter 6 and the motor 7 and through a detecting circuit 9 connected with the inverter control circuit. Continuity of the effective value of basic wave is sustained by means of a converter control circuit 12A disposed between the detecting circuit and the converter.
