PURPOSE: To provide a rescue operation inspection device which can save labor for a maintenance operator to go to the site for actually performing the rescue operation means, can have remotely the information of failure in the rescue operation in case any failure is generated in the rescue operation device, and achieves a great enhancement of the working efficiency in the maintenance works.
CONSTITUTION: When the predetermined date and time has come, a power interruption sensor operating device 12 sends an operation command signal to a power interruption sensor 2 to put it in operation, and the elevator is put under condition the power is failed, and DC power is supplied to a control device 9 and inverter 5 from a battery incorporated in a rescue operation device 10. A command of rescue operation is given to the control device 9, and the elevator is put in rescue operation, and a diagnosing device 13 collects the data measured during the rescue operation. The collected data or the data obtained through calculation therefrom and data read from a memory device is compared with the preset data, and judgement is passed whether the rescue operation of elevator has taken place normally.
