Abstract:
PURPOSE:To form a three-dimensional curved face in a computer from scanty information of curves such as drawn in an ordinary three-direction drawing or sketch drawing by realizing a curved face forming system having high curved face expressing capacity. CONSTITUTION:When data are stored in a keyboard tablet 4, a data input completion signal is transmitted to a controlling device 1, and curved face forming process is started. In the first place, the device 1 sends a starting signal to a key judging device 6 through a signal line 102. The device 6 judges the mode referring to curve data of a curve data buffer memory 3, and outputs numerals 1, 2, 3 corresponding to modes 1, 2, 3 and transfers to a curve dividing device 7. When processing in the device 6 is completed, the device 1 sends a starting signal to the device 7. When the numeral indicating the mode is 1 or 2, the device 7 transfers curve data of the memory 3 to a curve buffer memory 8 as it is. When the numeral indicating the mode is 3, a controlling curve is divided at both ends of a characteristic curve, and stored in the memory 8. The device 1 sends a starting signal to an intermediate line generation controlling device 9 and performs next control.
