Abstract:
PURPOSE: To supply the musical data in parallel to the supply of the animation data from a data supply part to a performance part in a 'KARAOKE' (orchestration without lyrics) device. CONSTITUTION: CDROMs 82, 83 storing only the animation data and the CDROMs 84, 85 storing both of the animation data and the musical data are set in respectively plural players 72-75 in a data supply part 10. The musical data of a piece of music to be performed later are read by the player 74 or 75 to be supplied to a RAM 44 in the performance part 8 by a serial cable 62 in parallel to that the animation data for a piece of music while performing at present are read by the players (72 and 73, or 74 and 75) of two pieces each in turn of 30 seconds to be supplied to a video mixer 22 by a coaxial cable 94. The lyrics based on the same musical data are displayed on a monitor 14 together with the animation of the animation data supplied from a data supply part 10 next while outputting an accompaniment sound based on the musical data from speakers 20.
