Abstract:
PURPOSE:To obtain the title composition which can give a cured object having a small amount of an uncured part on the surface layer and having a uniform hardness by compounding a polymerizable, ethylenically unsaturated compound, a specified hydroxyalkylamine and a photosensitizer each in a specified amount. CONSTITUTION:This composition comprises 100 pts.wt. polymerizable, ethylenically unsaturated compound (e.g. methyl methacrylate/pentaerythritol tri-acrylate/pentaerythritol tetra-acrylate mixture), 0.1-20 pts.wt. hydroxyalkylamine of formula I [wherein at least either R1 or R2 is a group of formula II (wherein R4 is CH3 or H; and R5 is alkylene) or alkyl; and R3 is alkylene] (e.g. N-2-hydroxyethyl-N-methylaminoethyl methacrylate) and 0.01-10 pts.wt. photosensitizer (e.g. 2-chlorothioxanthone).
