Abstract:

PURPOSE: To prolong the service life of refiner segments.

CONSTITUTION: This refiner segments for use in disk-refiners for the disintegration of a lignocellulose-containing material have bars 2 and intermediate grooves 3 and are formed of a pattern in which dams 4 are placed in the grooves. The dams 4 are arrayed so that their angles are smaller than 30° in relation to the radii of the refiner segments.
