Abstract:
PURPOSE:To reduce the impulsive noise at the time of braking in the device wherein a brake disc is pushed on the casing of a brake by a brake spring through a pusher at the time of braking by dividing the pusher into a part made of plastic and another part made of metal. CONSTITUTION:At braking, a brake spring 8 thrusts a pressure plate 6 through a pusher 7 to push the lining 5b of a brake disc 5 on the braking surface of a brake casing 2. When an electromagnet 9 is energized, the spring 8 stops thrusting the pressure plate 6. The pusher 7 comprises a plastic plate 7a and iron plates 7b, 7c on both the sides of the plastic plate. According to this constitution, the impulsive noise which generated when the pusher 7 collides against the pressure plate 6 at the time of braking and when the pusher collides against the core of the electromagnetic 9 at the time of non-braking, is reduced by the buffer action of the plastic plate 7a, while the mechanical strengh of the plastic 7a is reinforced by the iron plates 7b, 7c.
