Abstract:
PURPOSE:To rotate an output shaft by speed change ratio in relation to the speed of an input shaft, by coupling a carrier slidably to the input shaft and a conical wheel to the output shaft and holding a ball unit to be put between the carrier and the conical wheel and a fixed plate. CONSTITUTION:A device, slidably connecting a carrier 2 in the axial direction to an input shaft 1 connected to a driving source, couples a conical wheel 10 to an output shaft 11 while a fixed plate 9 to a housing 8. Then a ball unit 3 is held to be put between, the carrier 2 and the fixed plate 9 and the conical wheel 10. In this way, speed change ratio in accordance with a rotary speed of the driving source can be obtained because a position of the ball unit 3 is changed by varying centrifugal force acting on the ball unit 3 corresponding to a rotary speed of the input shaft 1.
