PURPOSE: To prevent foreign matters on the floor surface from adhering on the lower moving route section of an endless turning body by providing a transmission gear which rotates both one roller and the other roller adjacent to the aforesaid roller in the same direction, between the roller at one end section of a carrying route and the roller adjacent to the aforesaid roller at the intermediate section, and connecting a rotation drive means to a pivot at one end section of the carrying route.

CONSTITUTION: Since a roller 19a at the terminal section of a carrying route 21 is free from a pivot 19 via bearings, the roller 19a at the terminal section is not thereby rotated together with the pivot 18, but is rotated by a transmission gear 33 to the other direction identical to those of rollers 19 at the intermediate section. Since the lower moving route section 29 of a chain 28 is meshed with the upper section of each intermediate sprocket 27, the lower moving route section 29 is in a level high from the floor surface 2, therefore, foreign matters such as sands and water stagnant on the floor surface 2 are prevented from adhering onto the lower moving route section 29, and concurrently, the total height of a roller conveyor 9 can thereby be made high.
